TEFF - PAKISTAN

ONCO-IMAGING MDT TUMOR BOARD

Onco-Imaging MDT Tumor Board, a unique multidisciplinary team focused on retrospective oncological case reviews. Unlike traditional boards that discuss active cases, this "cold" MDT revisits past cases to explore how imaging findings could have suggested cancer diagnoses before invasive procedures like biopsy and surgery.

By analyzing these cases, specialists in radiology, oncology, and pathology can uncover valuable insights, spot early diagnostic indicators, refine imaging protocols, and ultimately improve diagnostic precision in future patient care.

ONCO-FERTILITY MDT TUMOR BOARD

Pakistan’s first Onco-Fertility Tumor Board, a groundbreaking initiative that bridges oncology and fertility preservation for cancer patients and survivors. This board brings together specialists from oncology, gynaecology, reproductive medicine, and counselling to address the unique fertility concerns of patients undergoing cancer treatment.

Cancer treatments like chemotherapy and radiation can impact reproductive health, often leaving patients with limited options for family planning after recovery. By integrating fertility preservation into oncology, the board offers patients a proactive, compassionate approach, empowering them to make informed choices about their future

CLINICAL ARCHITECTURE MDT BOARD

Clinical Architecture is a vital framework in the planning and design of healthcare facilities, ensuring that the needs of end users—primarily doctors and healthcare professionals—are at the forefront of hospital related architectural decisions. As we embark on the construction of new hospitals, it is imperative to engage in thorough discussions regarding design and layout, as these elements significantly impact workflow, patient outcomes, and overall staff efficiency.

By prioritizing research based evidence on this topic as well as insights of healthcare providers, we can create environments that promote collaboration, streamline operations, and enhance the quality of care.

CARDIO-ONCOLOGY MDT TUMOR BOARD

Cardio-Oncology MDT tumor board, a pioneering initiative designed to address the complex interplay between cardiac health and cancer treatment. As cancer therapies advance, so does the need for integrated care that considers the cardiovascular risks associated with cancer specific  treatments.

The Cardio-Oncology initiative brings together experts in cardiology and oncology to provide personalized care plans that monitor and manage heart health during and after cancer treatment.
